A sense of perspective nghĩa là gì

Hello, dear friends!
There's been already a thread about "sense of perspective", but I'd like to clarify the meaning:

The example from previous thread:

- Humor gives us a sense of perspective on our problems.
Meanings:
Humor allows us to see our problems in their context, rather than being overwhelmed by them.
We can view them [problems] in a detached way, as from a distance, and assess them more realistically.

Dictionaries gives the following definitions of the word "perspective":
A particular way of viewing things that depends on ones experience and personality
The ability to consider things in relation to one another accurately and fairly.

The forum members often use metaphor "to see the whole picture" explaining other phrases with "perspective" [put/keep/get into etc]

So getting back to the "
sense of perspective",
does it mean the
ability to judge objectively and reasonably, to see a problem in context, to see the whole picture, so to speak?
