HP laptop problems and how to fix them

Power button is pressed but no lights come on and there is no response from computer.

Try removing CD/DVD drive drivers by searching for and opening a Device Manager from the Start Menu. If you have been using your computer for a while, you might have a lot of software installed. Some software runs at the start-up of the computer, which increases the overall loading time. It is not necessary for all of that software to boot up with Windows so turning it off might reduce the loading time.
