Review bảng son teatime etude house

I dunno when but Etude House released this really cute collection of Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foams. The Muse happens to be obsessed with a good cuppa tea so these simply delighted her. I was really good and only indulged in the Peach Tea Cleansing Foam as I wasn’t sure how my skin would react with these. As per the norm, cleansing foam seems to really make my skin tight and dry feeling after use so I was naturally wary about indulging in more than one.

But honestly I was simply gagging to get all of ’em! They have Lemon Tea, Green Tea, Etc….so cute! From what I understand the “teas” aren’t meant for any specific skin type and can be used by anyone who wants a squeaky clean face.

Check out my review of the Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam in Peach Tea after the jump!

Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam is a pretty typical Asian formula. It’s thick, it’s creamy, and it foams. You may be familiar with it’s texture if you’ve ever used Shiseido Perfect Whip [this stuff makes my skin scream for hydration! Ugh! So drying!]. For those who haven’t really experienced a cleansing foam Asian style the best way to describe it is an old, traditional shaving cream. The formula is very thick and creamy with a whipped consistency much like whipped cream cheese.

A little water and a very little bit of cleansing cream and you can get to work on your face. It’s called foam for a reason as it foams and suds up beautifully. You can attack a face full of makeup and get it all off with this. It really gets deep in there for a squeaky clean finish. Mind you it doesn’t remove waterproof makeup so of course use some sort of eye makeup remover prior to cleansing.

Now the scent…

It’s SO interesting and fun. I like scented products plus my skin isn’t sensitive so I can take full advantage of heavily fragrance skincare without blinking an eyelash. It starts out banana-ish…really sweet and yummie. As you wash it switches to peach with an underlay of sweet tea. So novel, so cute, so sweet in my opinion. Absolutely adore the smell and I do believe it’s one of the key selling points for me.

One great thing about Asian cleansing foams is how great they feel on your skin as you’re massaging them around your face. You can feel a bit of a glide and a ton of hydration as you work it around your face. After rinsing off, thankfully, I didn’t experience too much drying. There was a tiny bit of tightness but with proper moisturizer I was ready to rumble.

Overall, Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing Foam is worth checking into for yourself. I liked it very much and will indulge in further “flavors” of tea.

I got mine directly from Korea but I have seen an E-bay seller [Not affiliated with the seller] selling these for $5.95 [close to retail] and very inexpensive shipping. I haven’t purchased from this seller so do be aware if purchasing.

Disclosure: The following item was purchased by me for review purposes [and because I like flinging my money at makeup products of any kind] on Musings of a Muse. For further information please see my FTC Guidelines or my Disclosure/Disclaimer posts.

Again, initially I wanted to buy the entire collection. XD but then it was a little disappointing this

Time round as they did not bring in the entire series collection. Items like the chocolate eyeshadow,

Cookie pact for face and a few nail polish colors were not available in Singapore. =[

But still I managed to get my hands on a few of the items. =P

Ice cream Nail Polish.

These colors are all so lovely! _ don’t they just remind you of macarons??? Lately I’ve been

Having so much fun doing nail art with all these nails colors which I will launch in another article.

However, i did not managed to get all the colors. Like the orange color were supposed to have a

Glitter one but were not available in most Etude House counters. =[ Despite that, I feel that these

The first- ever Etude House product I bought was Happy Tea Time Milk Tea Cleansing Foam; I thought it smelled really good; in fact, I thought it was the best- smelling facial foam ever and it remains so today.

I dropped by an Etude House boutique last week to purchase some products and it hit me to try the Cleansing Cream counterpart of Happy Tea Time facial foam, this moisturizing cream that rids skin of makeup and leaves it nice, smooth, and soft!

ETUDE HOUSE HAPPY TEA TIME MILK TEA CLEANSING CREAM IN DETAIL

A cleansing cream that removes makeup gently and effectively, but with low oil content for a gentle formulation. Happy Tea Time Milk Tea comes in two other variants: Aloe and Lemon Tea.

Ingredients

For only P198.00, you get a pretty huge tub that you can recycle and use as an accessory container.

Consistency is semi- light and texture is soft and moist; it still has hat lovely milky, powdery scent that I fell in love with years ago. Formula has a bit of oil in it, which is needed to break down makeup, but it doesn't feel greasy nor leave an oily residue on the skin.

ETUDE HOUSE HAPPY TEAM TIME MILK TEA CLEANSING CREAM IN ACTION

Makeup removed in one swipes. Whether you're wearing light or waterproof makeup, this product can remove it for you; just make sure to massage the product on your skin for it to disrupt the adherence of makeup. Speaking of massage, this works equally great as a massage cream for the face too; just apply an appropriate amount, spread evenly, and massage your face in circular motions. I did not break out with this product, but if you have sensitive skin, test it out first as it's fragrant and has mineral oil.

Happy Tea Time Cleansing Cream is a very affordable, good ol' makeup remover that works and can be afforded by anyone. Don't see any reason why you shouldn't try it! :]
