Terms in this set [11]
1. The manager can tell employees to go to the training lesson and make it sound like it will be of value to them. Also, the manager can emphasize how whoever participates the most might win a gift card or something of the sorts.
2. During training the Manager can help give instructions or assist the trainer. If they participate with the employees it will make them feel
as if it truly is something of worth to learn.
3. Once the training is over, the Manager can reinforce ideas or new techniques that were taught. This will be especially easy if they also attended the training course.
4. Before training, the Trainer must assure they have their lesson and all of their techniques organized and ready to go. Along with the Manager, they can also encourage people to go.
5. During training if the Trainer does not make the lesson enjoyable, then not many will
pay attention or want to learn. The Trainer must also relate the training back to the jobs at hand.
6. The trainer must also reinforce ideas or techniques that were taught. They must also make themselves available in case any of the employees have questions over something taught.
7. Before attending the training session the trainees can set objectives for themselves. Also, they can prepare by bringing a notebook and clearing their mind.
8. During the training session, trainees must
listen, understand, and retain the knowledge they are learning. They must actively listen and ask questions if needed.
9. After training, trainees should apply the information they learned and encourage their peers to do the same.
