Especially during our teen years, summer can be an exciting time, and the nostalgia for our summers as a teenager is understandable.

Theres the special summer crush or perhaps many different crushes. Who can forget the first time we get to drive with our friends to spend a day at the beach after finally receiving our drivers license? Or how about catching the annual Fourth of July fireworks at your favorite summer spot?

Another thing that defines our youth is the music of that era. It represents a simpler, happier time when we didnt have the stress that comes with adulthood.

As a teenager, we would do an eye roll whenever mom or dad would change the radio station to the oldies songs of the 1960's, but now we totally get it. It was the nostalgia factor. The songs that take you back to your youth and put a smile on your face.
