Batik air review perth to bali năm 2024

There were numerous issues and inconveniences I encountered during my flights with Bathik Air. Regrettably, I will never use Bathik Air again.

There are two critical issues and too many customer support problems:

The officers at gate H6 in Malaysia refused to let me board the flight. They had difficulty understanding English and misunderstood my boarding pass. They kept refusing me until someone else intervened at the last minute, allowing me to board. It was a scary experience, and I almost missed my flight.

On the same flight, the flight crew failed to inform me that I needed to go through customs upon arrival. I kept waiting with others, only to later discover that the flight was also heading to another airport. This was another alarming situation, as I was headed in the wrong direction.

Additionally, the chat service is terribly slow, taking 2-3 days to receive a reply. Based on my experience, if I were to provide a review, it would be -5.

I used Batik Air 4 times in 5 days…

I used Batik Air 4 times in 5 days flying from Perth Western Australia to Jakarta. Then to SOLO and return 4 days later. I was impressed. My return flight from SOLO to Jakarta was cancelled. I received this news via email and I had already been placed in an earlier flight the same day 4 hours before the original flight. I contacted Batik Air via email to confirm and this was an easy exercise. Their level of communication is fantastic. Email. Messages and WhatsApp all used to remind me of flights and any changes. I will certainly use Batik Air again. Thank you Batik Air!

They changed flight depature 3 times! We lost one day and a lot of time in imigration because of them

I have flown more than 20 times with different air companies and can say that it's the worst company I have ever used.

I booked the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 19 January. 3 days before departure they changed the departure time to 20 January and one day before departure moved it back to 20 January. Because of it, I changed my hotel booking twice.

On 19 January I arrived at the airport and during the checking-in, their worker announced to me that they had changed the departure time from 5 pm to 9 pm. They gave meal vouchers [but you can use their vouchers only in Burger King, Mcdonalds, and a noodle restaurant].

We waited in the airport until 8 pm for our departure and after that, they announced that the departure time had been changed to 20 January at 2 pm!

They provided meal vouchers and a free hotel for us, but we had to wait around 3 hours in the immigration office of Malaysia because we had already passed the Malaysian border and the officers didn't want us to go back yet we had a visa-free regime with Malaysia.

Highly not-recommended to use service of this air company. We lost one day in the airport full of stress because of immigration control and time changes.

Better than expected

I booked a flight from Singapore to Makassar. Having read so many horror stories about Batik Air, I was really worried particularly about flight cancellation and delay. But my experience turned out to be quite positive, there was no glitch and I did not find it much different from other more reputable low cost carriers. There was even inflight entertainment and snack and drinks provided. Will book again.

Some Cabin Crew Really Need an Attitude Check!

I was on the flight from Brisbane to Bali with Batik and one of your cabin crew she gave me attitude when I asked for food options. When I was about to disembark from the plane she didn’t say thank you just gave me a stink eye. Very unprofessional and she needs an attitude check! If she hates her job don’t hate the customers. Period.

Batik Air - A lesson in how not to provide a service

Booked flights way in advance and had departure dates/return dates changed over 5 times often without any sort of apology or explanation. Attempts to speak with them were futile and time wasting. I wouldn't recommend their service to my worst enemy, absolutely shocking. NEVER AGAIN

Bad airplane company

I just know that this company has very very bad reputation. Last December just bought the ticket, after 14 days cancel without any reason, but my friend ticket still okay. I contact the customer service, but it so unprofessional, just like a robot, answer without thinking. For everyone whose has the same experience, you can sue this company for sure [If your problem not more than 2 years]. To let this company learn how to respect their customer. you can contact the Airhelp for sue this company, if loose no paying. win you have to share. it is good choice.

buyer beware

Flew from Auckland to KL , KL to COL, not offered any refreshment on plane, not even water is complimentary.

Flown many airlines , this is a first , water a necessity of life and all and probably a health issue not drinking enough at that altitude.

Entertainment screen either didn't work or sound didn't, movies available average ,but could not hear anyway.

Changed our flights last minute for return , no compensation or flight dates offered. Complete arrogance

Batik Air is a Never Never airline

I booked 2 weeks ago from Colombo to Singapore, stop over in KL. Flights are in April. Batik Air have cancelled the Colombo to KL leg of journey for some obscure “operational” reason and I am completely unable to contact them by phone or email. One leg of the flight is no good without the other. They have offered no alternative flights or refund procedure. Have they gone broke? What are we supposed to do? I have a connecting flight from Singapore to Australia so I have had to book another airline. Wish I had seen these appalling reviews before I booked with Batik Air. I suggest save yourself a headache and some money DON’T use this airline.

This airplane is very disappointed

This airplane is very disappointed. Don’t ever buy. I bought ticket at Batik website, then suddenly they change my flight 1 month before become connecting flight without any compensation. They asked me to change flight. I bought the ticket is for chinese new year holiday, at that time is difficult to buy a new ticket with a good price.

SAY NO TO BATIK AIR

A truly appalling airline to say the least. In all my years of flying international with many airlines I have never experienced such a ridiculous sorry excuse of an airline. Upon boarding the aircraft, the air smelt like stale garlic noodles. An 11 hour flight [split in 2 -Adelaide to Bali then Bali to Bangkok] I was served a complimentary 250mil water in a plastic juice like cup fit for a 3 year old and a miniature bun that tasted like cardboard. Onboard meal from Adelaide to Bali was provided at a cost to the passenger. From Bali to Bangkok the same complimentary water and bun provided with nothing else ! No onboard entertainment provided. I am appalled that this airline has the right to fly with such below average service. The experience was disgraceful and poor and did not match the price they charged for their tickets! Australia should not allow this airline to provide its service! Absolutely disgusting!

Worst nightmare experience-

nevertravel_with-Batik

Don’t travel with batik even mean you are getting cheap price. You will get equally very cheap service. Worst nightmare experience. Schedule for the flight OD 158 from Brisbane, Australia to India got changed three times and every time with different times just that I can’t travel with connecting flights of same Batik airline from KUL to India. So each time I have to contact their WhatsApp customer care to adjust my connecting flight so that I can travel. No stay over facility provided even schedule was changed by the airline. After all stress and struggle with changing schedule -and cancellation of KUL to India flight because connecting flight was only available with 1 day gap in between, then worst experience with baggage damages. It was another horrible experience with lodging complaints. After complaint lodged with all details provided with bag tags, boarding pass , passport details and bags photos - it was rejected outright. It’s nightmare experience-

Disgusting customer service of Batik Air

Hi All,

My tickets booked with Batik air were cancelled by the airlines due to COVID 19 restrictions in 2021. However, after several follow ups via email and phone calls, I have have not received any refund till date. They are extremely unprofessional and do not care about customer service at all. My suggestion to fellow passengers would be to avoid Batik Airlines at any cost.

Very Impressed

I'm very impressed with this airline, and am somewhat surprised to read the number of negative reviews on here. Certainly not my experience on recent KUL to DPS flights. The planes were clean, the crew very welcoming and professional, and we took off and landed on time. A much better experience than with the European Low cost carriers that I normally fly.

Very poor overall

Delayed 1.5 hrs amd originally booked on an 800 seater wide bodied plane from Kuala Lumpur as part of our travel from the UK.

No refreshments provided, no water, two toilets between 300 passengers.

You could get snacks but they only take credit cards [not debit cards] and cash.

In flight entertainment runbish and no headsets provided.

Plane was dirty and just felt old.

Will never fly with them again.

Just don't fly with Batik - Terrible disregard for passengers

Just don't fly with Batik, simply not worth it. Absolutely terrible how they reschedule/cancel flights and off load passengers to other flights, especially to late night and cheaper flights. On about 3 occasions I booked to fly on a more expensive ticket [during daylight hours] each time these flights were cancelled and off loaded to the midnight flights. Never will I fly Batik and will be warning my friends of this financial rip off of passengers. I have just been notified of the said rescheduling and I have just cancelled my booking for this months flights due to this.

I flew from Singapore to Kathmandu on…All is good

I flew from Singapore to Kathmandu on 5th August to 13th August. I must commend that staff are polite and all is good. In spite of some technical issues of the aircraft in KL the crew did their best , profusely apologiesing for the delays which no fault of the cabin crew. The crew carried out their duties as good as any airlines and they are commendable. However the counters that handles the whatapp and email need to be more responsive and prompt. It seems there is no cordination and synchronized in task or follow up beween the admin staffs e. g. the whatsapp group not aware the emails been replied /updated by the passenger. Put it simply left hand dies not know what tje right hand is doing. I once again will shout out to All Batik Air cabin crew" You guys served with smile and good services 20000 feet in the skies :]". THANK YOU !!!!!!!

Batik Air Malaysia damaged my luggage during the KUL SIN flight but I did not know until I reached home and since my driver has arrived so I have to go back as soon as possible. I tried to contact their customer service but they cannot provide any compensation since I did not report it at the airport. Very bad service. New luggage damaged because of batik and batik will not compensate any. Shame on batik.
