Counterculture không nói về một loại văn hóa phản kháng gì cả. Tiền tố counter- trong tiếng Anh khi được dịch qua tiếng Việt thường kèm từ "phản". Tôi đoán là khi dịch bài này, bạn TaiwaneseWaveVN nghĩ rằng nếu dịch khái niệm counterculture thành "phản văn hóa" thì sẽ khiến nhiều độc giả cảm thấy hơi tối nghĩa nên đành diễn Nôm thành "văn hóa phản kháng".
Nhưng thực ra, counterculture không có nội hàm phản kháng gì cả, mà nó là loại hình văn hóa khác biệt với văn hóa chủ lưu [mainstream culture].
