If youre looking for something different, RP Genesis may be the place for you. We are not only a roleplay server, but also a custom coded full featured MMORPG in a GTAV/FiveM framework. In Genesis, you will choose your path, whether it be criminal, cop, civilian or a mix of these. It is here that your journey begins with a friendly ambassador to show you the ropes. On your tour of your new home, it will become clear that Genesis is like no other city youve been in.
When you start doing one of the many jobs available, youll not only earn money, but experience! Youll gain levels, and with those come build points that youll use to buy skills and elevate your chosen career path.
Dont like working for some faceless boss? Fancy yourself an entrepreneur? Youll need to make some money first.
If you decide to go mining, youll be raking in the money in no time! Thats if youre lucky enough to find the nodes, or charming enough to prize the information out of a fellow citizen.
Sounds like too much work? Maybe go swipe some free schwag from Milks farm and sell it for pure profit. Be careful though, it is the Deity of War youre stealing from! Dont let him catch you in his field.
What? Oh, you bet I said deity! Weve got all kinds of supernatural folk in Genesis. The deities are just the most powerful. They are the shining protectors and potential destroyers of Genesis and worlds beyond. You can interact with them by joining a temple and reaping the benefits, or by working against them in the shadows. Show your loyalty or dissent in the global storyline that seeks to include everyone in the fun!
When youre tired of the working grind, youre sure to find an event designed by the city to help you let off some steam. In Genesis youll encounter events such as scavenger hunts and demolition derbys, tasks offered to you by shadowy figures for financial gain, you may even find yourself the victim of a kidnapping hoping that your friends will save you or come through with the ransom!
Perhaps you just wanna play a fancy card game. We have that too. Its a fully functioning card game that is inspired by Triple Triad, Obliviverse Cell Control[OCC]. Not only does it expand on the original but also includes many familiar characters that exist in the Obliviverse.
Speaking of friends, youll find we have the friendliest, most welcoming group of citizens in all of FiveM. Theyll take you into their orgs and youll feel like you have a new family on Genesis in no time at all. Those orgs that I mentioned come in all flavors and sizes from street gangs to die hard criminals to straight and narrow business organizations.
A lot to keep track of? Thats okay. We have a fully functioning wiki that keeps up with the amount of items, jobs, skills and lore. All easy to access and navigate for the best experience for when you get stumped or forget.
Never done any roleplay before? Well, what are you waiting for? We welcome a wide range of players from those brand new to roleplay to seasoned veterans. Together, we will find our voices, create amazing stories and weave them all together into the ever expanding Obliviverse.

QoL
- Encrypted radio frequencies now function properly and are automatically unlocked for their respective organizations / businesses
- Fixed a bug in Gunsmithing causing gunsmiths to have access to recipes far earlier than they should of been able to
- Fixed a bug in calculation of experience causing your level to be calculated as 10 higher than it should of been.
- Organization Levels will now provide a 5% experience boost per organization level, similar to your normal level.
- Fixed a bug allowing you to turn any billstrap into mustard billstraps, or any gun into a custom blueprint recipe gun
- Fixed a bug preventing you from placing TalboTec Autominers
- Removed old code that revolved around org ownership of the ONeil Meth Farm
- Improved the effect of Paying: High and Paying: Low on drug calls
- Made drug prices shift [and new customers to spawn] four time per hour rather than once.
- Fixed a bug causing XP: Drug Sales to have 10x its intended effect
[9:39 AM] - Increased the occurrence of expensive cars and hypers at the car dealerships

Prison
- Prison time now caps at 90 minutes. Thank Chief Lockson not me.
Skills
- Gemcutting skill added.
- Plundering has returned to the crim hub and has its previous function.
Mining
- Various precious gems now come from nodes when you mine them.
QOL
- Tweaked the values of the vehicle and engine degradation so its not quite as obnoxious.
- Disabled UBI for business employees that dont get paid from the business, no double dipping.
Vespura:
LSPD Changes
- Added an indicator on the screen for as long as you are 10-7 and on duty as a cop.
- Only show the most 100 recent forensic entries in the MDT to prevent flooding it and making it slow.
- Fixed the Commissioner rank display in the MDT.
Bugfixes/improvements
- Allow setting business job paycheck back to 0 after youve set it to anything above 0 and prevent negative paycheck values.
- Fixed the hellion sell price.
- Various small improvements not worth mentioning separately.
- Fixed the background of the alert/warning popup screen for /trade and similar actions.
- Fixed the bonuses for Marc DeMartini, Driveby King and 'Murica Ranger.
Genesis 1.7.7f [Versecore build 3600] is now deployed with the following notes
Vespura
- When taking out your vehicle from your house garage, you will now be placed inside your vehicle so you no longer get stuck clipping through your vehicle.
- When you take out a car from a garage, the area around the parking spot should now hopefully get cleared properly of any local vehicles. Note that it doesnt affect player vehicles, only local vehicles will be cleared. Its not perfect, but I hope it helps at least a little bit.
- The Casino Penthouse Garage [interior] entrance has been moved to the rear of the Casino to accommodate for vehicle-friendly interior entrances.
Fixed
- Some vehicle modifications werent properly applied when spawning a vehicle from a garage. This was due to a recently discovered GTA bug. This means that setting the vehicle customization will now be delayed by 0.5 seconds after you spawn your vehicle, to ensure it is applied correctly. You might notice a small change in vehicle performance because of this.
New
- Added a garage at LSIA. You can now store your vehicle in the garage nearby when going to Cayo Perico.
- Added a garage at the Casino. Please use this if you go to the casino with your own vehicle, to prevent the casino entrance from being blocked by all the cars!
- The Casino Garage and Casino Penthouse Garage [interior] entrances are now vehicle-friendly.
Gemcutting
- The geodes now actually drop from nodes [let me know how often / not often you get them so we can adjust rates]
- The Geode Dropoff and Gem Pickup have been implemented in the Quarry
- The Jewelcrafting station at the Pawn Shop in Vinewood was added

Vespura
- Fixed Hunting Ammo exploit
- Added /radiovolume command to set radio volume, this sticks between reboots and relogs
- Allow female characters to have beards and chest hair if they so choose
QOL Updates
- Rewrote vehicle health and degredation, the random tire explosions
- Added a custom shop at Mosleys
- Added Mosleys as an ownable business
- Shots fired calls will no longer trigger during events
- AR Use, SMG Use and Shotgun Use are now Tier 2 Skills. LMG Use added as a Tier 3 Skill
- Respec Tokens now work from the inventory

- Added more supers, and hypers to the dealership and made them reliably appear
- Added Shift-F3 Hotkey to open the Police MDT

- Getting a blackjack now actually pays triple in the Casino
- Metal Detector no longer says $1,500 for rental, it properly shows $500
Civ Tuning

Crime
- Dial Safes now payout based on the amount of pins in the safe, not a random amount.

Vespura
Vehicle Changes:
- Changed the vehicle underglow/neon colors to match the vehicle headlight color options [wont affect your current car, only if you re-apply it in the shop].
- Added Bennys, Bennys Bespoke and Street vehicle wheel types [that is 646 NEW wheels to choose from!] to all customs shops.
- Improved maintainability of the mod shop code.
- Rewrite the vehicle indicators/windows toggling to be much more efficient and ensure it no longer conflicts with controller keybinds.
Other [QOL] changes
- Remove invalid ATMs. Also removed the E: Bank prompt from ATMs because that didnt do anything.
- Reworked blackouts to support distance based blackouts.
- Made vehicle lights unaffected by blackouts.
- Hopefully fixed a trading and mining bug.
- Added the Music Locker entrance at the left side of the Diamond Casino.
- Added the Kosatka interior entrance in a hidden place, good luck finding it!
- Stop your phone or inventory from opening when you have the pause menu active.
- Fixed a bug where when you shouldve received a used miner helmet, it instead gave an invalid item.
- Fix the description for the Luca Blight Bobblehead and make sure you no longer get it from any loot.
Police changes
- Sorted BOLOs, Forensics and Warrants in the MDT to show the most recent entries at the top instead of the bottom.
- Sorted the Active Scenes in the MDT so the most recent calls will always go to the top. This works for new calls as well as calls marked as code 4 or 10-76.
- Added a debug fallback value of unknown if the call name is missing. If you notice this please let me know.
- Server admins can now change peoples callsigns. If you got promoted, make sure to ask an admin to change your callsign for you while youre in the server.
- Added a chat message for police when someone goes 10-7 or back 10-8.
- Removed the extended clip from the Heavy Pistol in police loadouts.
- If you try to place down more than 6 barricades or spike strips in one go it should now properly limit to 6 instead of just not working at all.
- Updated and fixed the list of cars in the police garage to have the correct names for the PD rework.
Lux
- Revised Milk sale prices

Kain
- Rewrote a ton of Car Dealer, now there should be far more consistency in pricing and what you see.
- Added capable to sell back vehicles youve purchased for 70% of MSRP as a car dealer.
- Fixed the Mosleys Customs blip to properly reflect that its Moselys and not Talbot
- Moved the business blip for Mosleys to the office in the back.
- Converted local repair shopts to 3d world text from help text.
- Revised local mech shops to either take an advanced repair kit, or cash.
- Added a local mech shop back to Grapeseed.
- Spare tires can now be used by anyone.
- Restored the Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores garages
- Added aircraft garages, separated cars and aircraft in the vehicles database.

Prison
- THE TUBES can be located at the cells in the basement of Mission Row PD.
Jewelcrafting
- You can no longer use multiple of the same gem in a ring.
- Ring decay has been enabled based on usage.
Gunsmithing
- Added Double Barrel Shotgun to the Gunsmithing Bunker
- Added Bullpup Shotgun to the Gunsmithing Bunker
- Added SMG to the Gunsmithing Bunker
- Added Gusenberg Sweeper to the Gunsmithing Bunker
- Reworked the progression of gunsmith so the unlocks make more sense.
- Ensured all blueprints are available and in the shop.
QOL
- A new custom and fancy hud that can be adjusted with the /hud command.
- Added a NPC that will let you know if you have warrants or not.
- Fixed respec tokens to work properly while being double clicked or with the /respec command.
- Hacking banks [not keycards] will now grant substantial xp like drilling the vault door.
- Updated the legendary loot to give Admin Appreciation boxes not Lux boxes.
- The Gold Coin shops at Arcadius and Talbot have returned.
- Some MDT changes.
- Admin fixes and improved event tools.
- @[A-3] Lennix Lockson changed some of the locked doors at PD, so thank him for that glorious change, no longer do you need to [un]lock 10 million doors.
- Moved the location where you end up after ALSing to the bottom of the hospital instead of the top entrance. This should hopefully prevent people from falling through the map and ending up in the sewers after ALSing.
- Add debug information for when ammunation stores break.

Whitelist
- Genesis is once again a whitelisted server requiring new participants to apply via Discord and be present in the Discord to participate.
EMS
- The EMS system has been implemented from the ground up with a new system.
- You can apply and interview by speaking to @[E-1] Zhanluan [Lyla/AJ/Clara]
- Features will be rolling out over the course of the next few weeks.
- This is a whitelisted position similar in scope to Police, and we reserve the right to deny it to anyone for any reason.
- As part of this the Police Duty system has been rewritten and optimized to now function for Police, EMS, [and soon Mechanics and Car Dealers!]
- As part of this the entirety of the police scripts were re-written and optimized with redundant / bad / out of date code eliminated or improved.
Cooking
- Foundations in, full system imminent in the next few days.
Banks
- Banks have been rewritten from the ground up.
- Banks now properly reset and dont need a server restart or admin script restart to function properly.
- Banks can now contain carts, or safety deposit boxes you can drill [disabled until carts are balanced. ]
- Banks no longer take Bank Manager Keycards to open and require a hacker.
- All carts have the same loot pool due to the above change, so the front cart is worth as much as the rear carts.
- You can now hack the inner door rather than drilling it.
- Animations and scenarios retained from the previous bank script by the former Linvala Tepes
Misc
- Removed the old hunger / thirst sprites from the HUD.
- Fixed the black bars on F2.
- Added a series of zones for the new context / radial menus were creating to allow you to hotkey do things at various places.
OBLE Shop
- Runic Mayhem Mystery Box is now available
Genesis 1.8.3 [Versecore build 3734] is now deployed with the following notes:
New Phone
- The antiquated gcphone script has been retired, a new upward scaling, highly anticipated and awesome phone has replaced it.
- The new phone is a highly modified version of the qb-phone script located here [//github.com/qbcore-framework/qb-phone]
- The phone supports texts, calls, vehicle tracking, twitter [with hashtags and mentions], advertisements and phone based notifications.
- We will be rolling out new features/apps to the phone consistently over the course of the next month, as we create and fine tune new applications for it. [BIGGG stuff coming!]
- You can give someone your phone number easily now by showing them your ID, which will add a suggestion in their phone to create you as a contact.
QoL
- Kismet replaced with Chris in luck notifications.
- Experience values slightly adjusted to flatten the curve on leveling a bit and make it less of a pain in the ass.
- Daily Rewards have been reset for the month of September

Back to the Future?
- Server branding and name is once again RPGenesis [and its staying that this time!]
Time for some improvements!
Fixed:
- Fixed haggling for chop. Well keep tweaking this until its balanced.
- Fixed a phone exploit.
- Fixed the cop radio animation getting stuck when releasing the PTT key.
- Fixed a phone crash when identity data failed to load.
QOL:
- Reworked /helpperp. You can now put multiple people in a car, even if theres already someone in the car. You can also put people in a cars that dont have back seats, theyll be placed in the front passenger seat but youll need to get in quickly after that before they shuffle to the drivers seat!
- Changed drug haggling effectiveness slightly. Well keep tweaking this until its balanced.
- Changed the RPGenesis logo on the loading screen.
- Restyled the rewards page slightly to make it easier to spot the Collect rewards button and other small styling changes.
- Moved the MRPD helicopter garage to the lower heli pad to prevent local police helicopters from interfering.
- Event tools improvements.
- Updated the fines. Community service has been removed for now. It will return in the future as an optional choice to do while in prison to speed up time instead of the porter jobs. @LSPD Patrol be sure to check the updated Penal Code!
