Absent from là gì

"Absent from" is pretty formal, and there are usually more casual phrases that mean the same thing.

People mostly use the term "away" unless it's a school environment.
Think of it this way, you can use"away" for all scenarios, but "absent" is specific to attendance.[School/work] A:Absent is an adjective, absentee is a noun. So an absent student is an absentee! A:Both of them are correct. For the second one it would sound more natural to say, shes away today.
