I am stuck on El Capitan [I am aware of the dosdude1 patcher but have to keep this machine on El Capitan], and I need Remote Desktop. The latest version to support El Capitan is 10.2.13, but I swear it seems like Microsoft/Apple has paid to have all traces/downloads of it removed from the internet. I searched every page on my Google results for "Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.2.13" as well as exhaustively searched the waybackmachine at archive.org to no avail.
Version 10.2.13 was released in 2019. I don't understand why they made it vanish like this other than to force users to buy a new computer. A shitty thing to do given the pandemic and folks having to work from home with what computers they have.
Anyways, if you have El Capitan installed and have a working copy of Microsoft Remote Desktop [any version 10 - 10.2.13 should work, please let me know. I need to get a copy of the App from someone's Applications folder.
Worth noting, I have a copy of Remote Desktop ver 8, but it does not connect to newer builds of Windows 10, which I need to do.
Thanks in advance for any help. I'd even be willing to offer a small $$ reward for some assistance. And I will be making backups of the Application for future use as well.
edit: my word I feel silly. I have downloaded Remote Desktop ver 10 and ver 8 in the past, ver 10 being back in 2019. I went to my Purchases and clicked Download. It wouldn't let me download the latest but it did get me version 10.2.13. Success.
That said, I know from reading a TON of forums that many people need this App and may not have it in their Purchases tab, therefore this is not a solution for them. I want to say that if you find this post in the future, and you are in need of this version, feel free to PM me on here and I would be happy to get you a copy.
