As you can see from the brutal review site ASR (these guys call out anything substandard), this is one of the very very very best measuring Amplifiers EVER made. It blows away everything that came before it even at multiples of the price: Zeos Pantera (only the #1 guy in the headphone review scene) basically creamed himself and scored this the most linear and best-sounding amp he's ever heard: This is one of the two best headphone amps on the market right now. The other one being the SMSL SP400. You can't go wrong with either but the A90 does offer a slightly smoother listening experience than the SP400. In a perfect world, one would have both (and I do have both). Take your audio to the top level and get an A90 and a decent DAC and your audiophile game will be at the top of the mountain. |
