Loreal colour riche lipstick đánh giá năm 2024
It’s review time again! I’m particularly excited for this post as I *think* it might be my first official lipstick review on the blog. Isn’t that crazy?! I’ve definitely written many posts on lip products before, but I don’t think I’ve ever done a dedicated review of one. Anyways, I’m here now to talk about the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in the shade Varnished Rosewood. I picked up this baby from the drugstore about a month or so ago after having my eye on it since it initially launched last year. Everyone seemed to rave about them as lip glosses in stick form with tons of shine and comfort. I’m always intrigued by products that promise a certain coziness so I knew I would eventually pick one up! After wearing this on and off for the last few weeks, I’m ready to share my thoughts with you all now. Let’s discuss! Read this: Review: COL-LAB High-Rise Insane Length Mascara PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MY THOUGHTS ON PACKAGINGThe packaging on this product is quite luxe for the drugstore, and I love it! It’s a very sturdy clear plastic case that has this almost quilted effect. There’s nothing else quite like it in the drugstore so it really stands out. Rating: 5 / 5 ⭐️ MY THOUGHTS ON APPLICATIONThe lipstick bullet here is rounded, unlike the traditional pointed lipstick shape. But I think with this particular formula it totally works. This is a very creamy lipstick that glides across the lips smoothly with no skips or tugging at all. You could potentially just do one swipe all across your lips to get full color & effect, but I do like to go back and forth a bit just to make sure all my lines are even. So if you’re looking for an easy formula that’s super quick to apply, this one is great. Rating: 5 / 5 ⭐️ MY THOUGHTS ON COLORI mentioned earlier that I have the shade Varnished Rosewood, which is such a “me” shade. It’s a dusty mauve-rose kinda color that’s so incredibly wearable. I’d also describe this as a your-lips-but-better shade, yet ever so slightly deeper (of course this is all dependent on your natural lip shade and skin tone). I absolutely love it! L’Oreal has about 16 shades listed on their website ranging from bright purples, to pinks, reds, and browns so there’s something for everyone. MY THOUGHTS ON FINISHI totally agree with the claim that the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks are high-shine lip products. And I would also agree with the whole “lip gloss in stick form” idea too. Check out the photo below that I took right after I applied Varnished Rosewood – look at that shine! Wouldn’t you think that’s a gloss?! Yea, me too! It has a very similar slip & hydrating feel to it that a gloss or a highly-glossy lipstick would have. Rating: 5 / 5 ⭐️ MY THOUGHTS ON WEARAs with any other really hydrating or slippy lip product, the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in Varnished Rosewood does not last very long before fading. I’d say pretty much as soon as you eat or drink anything, the effect & color of this lip product will start to fade. First the glossiness will fade away, but you’ll be left with the underlying color. Then with one big meal, the color will say “adios” as well. It’s the nature of the beast; hydrating lip products just don’t have the same cling to them as drier, matte products do. I so wish this lipstick lasted longer but I didn’t buy it thinking it was a long-wear product either. Rating: 4 / 5 ⭐️ Read this: Review: CoverGirl Clean Liquid Foundation MY THOUGHTS ON PRICEBoth L’Oreal and Ulta Beauty have these listed at $9.99 a pop, although I’m sure you can get them on discount or on offer at either Target or Walmart. I have no problem with the price. For such a beautifully moisturizing lip product, it’s worth it! Rating: 5 / 5 ⭐️ FINAL THOUGHTSIf you’re on the hunt for an affordable, hydrating & glossy lipstick that comes in a great variety of shades and that’s a joy to apply, then get yourself down to the drugstore and shop the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks! I can see myself picking up more shades in the future! |
