Austin MotoGP 2023 tickets

Go racing US-style at the Circuit of the Americas

One of the most variable circuits on the MotoGP calendar, the Circuit of the Americas has become a major stop for every premier-class motorsport. For the riders of MotoGP, its flowing esses, hard braking zones and long straights demand full focus throughout the 20-lap race. It’s a track that has been dominated by multiple World Champion Marc Marquez, who has taken victory at all-bar-one race at COTA. With a capacity of 120,000 fans, the atmosphere at the circuit is second-to-none. A country with a rich heritage in motorsports, fans in Texas have taken to the racing with open arms and create an atmosphere unique to this part of the world. Tail-gating and BBQs are a big part of the culture in Texas, with the city of Austin renowned for its music scene, great food and larger-than-life attitude.

Trip advice

General Information
The Circuit of the Americas is located 18 miles from downtown Austin, 155 miles from Houston, and 81 miles from San Antonio.

Remember if you are coming on a package with us, we can organise airport pickup from Austin airport.

By air
The nearest international airports are Austin and San Antonio. Try skyscanner.com to find out what cheap airlines will get you there. The drive from San Antonio, and also Houston are very easy, wide roads, although there isn't much in Texas in the name of scenery.

By road to the COTA
Coming from Austin downtown area, we recommend I-35 South, east on E Ben White Blvd (Tx-71 E) to the exit to Montopolis, and get on Burleson Road. Take Burleson Road SE to South Highway 183. Take a right, and head south on S Hwy 183. Turn left on FM812 (Dee Gabriel Collins Rd). Follow this road until you arrive at Circuit of the Americas on your left.

From Houston: Exit Houston on Interstate 10 West, and continue west until Columbus. At Columbus, take exit 695 to TX-71 West. Take TX-71 W for about 1 hour 15 minutes to Circuit of the Americas Blvd. The drive should take about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

From San Antonio: Take I-37 N to TX-45 E. Take TX-45 E to FM812. Take a right on FM812, and continue to Circuit of the Americas Blvd.

By rail (to Austin)
In Texas, trains are for oil and coal! Just kidding, there is an Amtrak between San Antonio and Austin once per day.

By coach (to Austin)
Megabus offers limited routes between Houston and Austin, and San Antonio and Austin. You can reserve your seat here: https://www.megabus.com/
