You attempted to initiate an outbound phone call or send a message, but the To phone number you supplied was not a valid phone number or was incorrectly formatted. Twilio accepts phone numbers in E164 format(link takes you to an external page): [+] [country code] [subscriber number including area code].

• The formatting of the To number you supplied was invalid.
• You attempted to send a message or place a call from a Twilio number to itself (i.e. putting the same Twilio number in the To and From parameters).
• You attempted to send a message to Short Code.
• You attempted to send a message to an Alphanumeric Sender ID.
• Ensure you have formatted your phone numbers in E164 format(link takes you to an external page): [+] [country code] [subscriber number including area code].
• Ensure you have used the correct for the phone number you are calling.
• Ensure you are not attempting to call or message from a Twilio number to itself.
• Ensure you are not attempting to send messages to Short Codes or Alphanumeric Sender IDs. These sender types cannot receive messages from Twilio numbers.
• Review the 'To' number for any typos or incorrect input methods.
• If you are using a third party integration, test your API request in the Try it out(link takes you to an external page) section of the Twilio console. If this is successful, you may need to contact the third party to ensure they are not making unexpected changes to your To parameter.

You will receive this error when adding a VOIP phone number as they are not supported. Blizzard Customer Support cannot bypass this limitation.

If your phone number is not VOIP and you still receive this error, check the following:

• Make sure you enter the number correctly
• Make sure the country registered on your Battle.net account is correct and the phone number you're trying to use matches your country. If you have moved countries, update your registered country and try again
• Make sure your number was not previously used on a VOIP plan

If you are unsure if your number is a VOIP number, contact your provider for additional information. Please note that Blizzard Customer Support can only help if your phone is not VOIP.

I’d recommend first checking the How to collect SMS consent via API article to ensure that you have met all requirements.

In regards to the ‘Invalid or unsupported phone number’ error you are receiving, it is possible this is displayed because you may be unable to appropriately collect consent from a Vietnam phone number; even in testing. At the time of this post, Klaviyo is only enabled to collect SMS consent and send text messages in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. You can read more about that .

You may choose to try testing with a phone number from one of the above listed countries to confirm if this is the issue.

I'm trying to set it up from here: http://reg.imqq.com/ and I can get as far as a user name and password but then it says I need to give them my cell phone number, which I do but then get a message saying the number isn't valid.

Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

No idea about whats going on with your mobile number...

but why not try signing up for a QQ number using the Chinese site - with English interface. I assume you could use that QQ number on any QQ related software or thing.

Maybe you could post the phone number with the last four digits ****'ed out, and then edit the whole thing away when your problem is solved. It may be that the format of the phone number is not correct.

If you have a problem with the phone number, you can simply have another phone number from http://www.k7.net/ to verify your account.

how on earth do you use your email to sign up?? I know this thread is old as fuck buti will not be able to play otherwise, since it just says that my verifacation email wont send to them

At least for Wechat you now need a phone number, and when registering you have to send a text back from that number,, so you can't use one of those "public" numbers any longer. All part of the movement to block out anonymous web activity (mobile phone numbers have to be registered in China).
