Hi, I am very newbie in this, but please help me. It is kind of loop for me. I go here: www@miui@com/unlock/ Then I download: MiFlashUnlock_1.1.0317.1_en After I login with my MIAcount it says: Your device isn't supported by Mi Unlock And it sends me to apply for unlock.

So, how could I actually unlock my device?

the point is to install an offical rom from xiaomi and then unlock the bootloader.

Oh, read carefully but this is when I have problem with the unlocking process. I am having problem to be granted with unlocking permission...

(This: "Apply for unlocking permissions" does not work for me - don't know why...)

Well - I've made some progress. Unlocking procedure is only for Developer ROM. not for Stable. Now reverting to 6.9.22

I have made some progress, but I would need some help, pls. On my laptop with WIN10 I cannot install twrp.img because I cannot install ADB and Fastboot. On my desktop I am with WIN 8.1 and did installed ADB. But WIN 8.1 cannot recognize my Redmi Pro. Mi PCSuite ver 3.2.1.3111 also cannot connect?! Please show me where to find drivers for WIN 8.1...

Go to device manager in win settings and change MTK driver to MTK usb driver and you are on the Elephant. In properties of driver go to update driver, go to manually, and choose from installed drivers MTK usb driver. Win will now recognise your device. After you conect to fatboot mode ,off device than hold volume - and power on until the fastboot picture is shown on display. Than type in CMD window fastboot flash recovery twrp-file.img And fatboot reboot. Done

Thanks for helping me, Varvaris. My laptop with WIN 10 recognizes the phone, but I cannot install ADB and Fastboot drivers on WIN10 (no solution for win10 so far). And on my desktop with WIN8.1 I can install ADB and Fastboot drivers, but I cannot recognize my RedmiPro phone.
