Sawed down the middle, this side profile gives us a look at the internal construction and tooling. The knit upper is reinforced mostly by nylon with plenty of padding around the ankle for added comfort and an Air Sole unit sits over a cored out foam midsole that runs at a decent heel to toe drop.

The knit is basic but is inspired by the LeBron 15’s Battleknit pattern as we can see when separated from the midsole and the internal half-bootie construction.

While there generally isn’t anything amazing about an Air Sole unit these days, it is interesting to see that the LeBron Witness 3 pretty much uses the exact same unit as the Air Jordan 2 Retro. It is no secret that brands ‘recycle’ components all the time, but it is cool to know what shoes share the same attributes — something FastPass does a great job of informing us of.
