2023 kawasaki h2 carbon hp
Boasting 310hp, the Kawasaki H2R is one of the most outrageous motorcycles in the world, and bookings for the 2023 model are open now
THE order books for the 2023 Kawasaki H2R have been opened today, with interested parties invited to place an order with their local Kawasaki UK dealership. With more than 300hp on tap, the H2R (and the slightly less powerful road-going H2) represent a rare glimpse of what a modern motorcycle manufacturer is capable of if given free rein to create the ultimate performance motorcycle. Its supercharged four-cylinder engine gulps in 200 litres of air a second when at full chat, hurtling the machine to a claimed top speed of 240 mph. Little has changed since its introduction, the track-only H2R weighs in around 20kg less than the stock H2 and wears sticky slick tyres and a full titanium exhaust system. When we tested the bike at the Losail circuit in Qatar, the speedo was topping 200 mph at the end of the one-kilometre straight, and still pulling like a sports bike as it went. Chassis hardware comes from Öhlins, Brembo, and KYB, and it is all tuned to provide the ultimate on-track performance motorcycle experience. Many thought the H2R would be a short-lived bike, coming and going in a couple of years and then being consigned to the history books. That is clearly not the case though, and for those seeking the ultimate in motorcycle performance can still snap up a 2023 model. Kawasaki UK has today announced the bike with a £50,000 price tag and is asking interested parties to contact their nearest official Kawasaki dealership.
