Update Failed: Disk Read Error Hi so for a while now my ark has read update paused in my library. I wasn't looking to play it as i was playing arma with some friend for the last couple weeks so i ignored it untill recently. I tried to start the download and it almost instantly told me the update had failed doue to a "disk read error". I google it and couldn't find anything to help it so i tried to verify the files. The scan starts, and when it finished it told me 833 file were missing and would be validated. But the process never started. I tried many times to verify the game's file but the download would never start due to this disk read error. So, i reinstalled it. i took a long time but once it finished i was able to launch the game. But now that another update has been released i'm having the same problem. If anybody could help me figure this out i'de really apreciate it as i want to play this game some more. Thanks. Ngày đăng: 4 Thg07, 2016 @ 5:11pm Bài viết: 16 I have tried everything. I validated the files, reinstalled the game twice, but no matter what I do, it crashes an hour or so into the game, making me lose all of the progress of that hour. immediately after reinstalling, it will work, as far as I know, but closing the game and then playing the next day? it will continue to crash again and again. I'm at my wits end. No solutions offered anywhere have worked. I love this game, and I'm considering just getting rid of it. I don't want to do that, but I have nothing else to do. Please someone help me figure out why I can't play one of my favorite games. |
