DetailsThe Magnum Hybrid features two conductors made of 483 strands high purity Matched Crystal (MC) Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) strands, each 0.15mm thick, with a dense and very pure silver coating. The conductors are coated with a layer of Linear Structured Carbon. This conductive layer dramatically improves the sonic qualities of the Magnum Hybrid and offer extra protection against interference and contamination. The plus and minus leads are different in jacket shape, with gold coloured printing in the flat middle-section. Both properties make finding the polarity very easy. Type printing every 25 cm makes cutting specific lengths very easy. Two types of connectors are available with the Berri Bus system. A 4mm diameter Banana Plug or a 2mm thick Spade Connector. These are interchangeable and simply screw onto the end of the Berri Bus. These connectors require a degree of technical competence in order to fit them properly. They are not the cold-welded type but rather need to be soldered with high-quality solder and a industry standard soldering iron/heat gun.
